Three kinds of Parramatta move

Unlike a leafy suburb, the Parramatta move is usually vertical. Which one you have decides the whole plan, so we sort it first.

Tower

Book the lift, find the dock

In the CBD towers the move is governed by the building: a booked goods lift, a loading dock and a certificate of currency. You cannot use the passenger lift for furniture, so we plan the whole job around the lift window.

Walk-up / kerb

Stairs, or a one-way kerb

Older units are walk-ups with no lift, so it is stairs and a scouted load spot. Where a CBD building has no dock, Church and Smith Streets run one-way, so we plan the kerb and any council permit ahead of the day.

House

Driveway and door

Out in Eastwood, Ermington and Carlingford the move is back to a driveway we can back the truck to and a carry from the door, with the slope and the arterial timing read before the day.
